They demand high lighting, in the range of 300-500 PAR, to maintain their colour and support vigorous growth. Strong, intermittent water flow is just as important, helping to deliver nutrients and keep the colony free of detritus. We recommend placing it in the upper regions of the tank where it has ample room to expand its table. Stable alkalinity (8-9 dKH), calcium (420-440 ppm), and magnesium (1300-1400 ppm) are critical.
