They prefer moderate, indirect water flow that allows their polyps to sway gently without being blasted directly. Placement on the bottom to mid-level of the rockwork is generally suitable. While primarily photosynthetic, supplemental feeding of small, meaty foods like mysis shrimp or brine shrimp can encourage faster growth and improved vitality.
