The coloration is a solid, vibrant green across the surface of the polyp, which can be quite eye-catching under aquarium lighting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor proper care, Fungia corals should be placed directly on the sandbed in an area of low to moderate water flow. Placing them on rockwork is risky, as a fall could damage their tissue and skeleton. While photosynthetic, they are voracious eaters and benefit significantly from regular target feeding. Offer meaty foods like mysis shrimp or finely chopped seafood directly to their central mouth once or twice a week. Maintain stable water parameters, including calcium between 400-450 ppm, alkalinity of 8-12 dKH, and magnesium between 1250-1350 ppm.
