Description

24K Gold Torch Coral (Euphyllia glabrescens) – Not WYSIWYG unless stated

The 24K Gold Torch is one of the most sought-after Euphyllia varieties in the reef aquarium hobby. Known for its intense, metallic gold tentacle shafts and bright neon tips, this coral delivers exceptional movement and world-class fluorescence under blue LED lighting. Its long, flowing polyps create dramatic motion, making it a standout centrepiece in any LPS or mixed reef system.

Each frag typically contains 1 polyp, unless specified otherwise. Colour intensity may vary slightly between individual pieces, but all are premium-grade gold morphs sourced for maximum brightness and impact.

Care Instructions:

  • Lighting: Moderate to high LED lighting enhances gold intensity and fluorescence.

  • Flow: Moderate, indirect flow to promote gentle extension and avoid tissue damage.

  • Placement: Mid to lower areas of the tank; allow space for sweeper tentacles.

  • Feeding: Benefits from occasional feeding of mysis shrimp, brine, or LPS pellets.

  • Water Parameters: Maintain stable reef conditions (Alk 8–9 dKH, Ca 420–450 ppm, Mg 1300–1400 ppm, NO₃ 5–15 ppm, PO₄ 0.03–0.1 ppm).

Why This Coral Is Highly Desired:

  • True 24K metallic gold coloration

  • Excellent fluorescence under blue LEDs

  • Long, flowing torch movement

  • Perfect high-impact centrepiece for LPS collectors

  • Premium-grade morphology and colour saturation

Photo Disclaimer: Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. If listed as WYSIWYG, the coral shown is the exact specimen you will receive.

Our Quarantine Procedures

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.

Payment & Security

We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.

Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
