Reef Revolution F/2 Algae Fertiliser B

Reef Revolution’s F/2 Algae Fertiliser is a 2 part complex chemical formulation containing essential major & minor trace elements including essential nutrients and vitamins for algae to thrive and boosts cell division. F/2 Fertiliser is an important part of raising healthy phytoplankton as healthy microalgae is a very important food source for many aquatic organisms and the phytoplankton will pass on its high nutritional value for the end user.

Directions: Before you start make sure all equipment is sterilised before adding culture media and algae culture to your culture vessel.

1ml of F/2 Algae Fertiliser A and B will make a total of  2 litre of culture media. Once your culture media is ready add your algae culture to the culture vessel, be sure there is sufficient light and water agitation so the culture does not settle to the bottom of the culture vessel. For culturing diatoms add 1ml of F/2 Algae Fertiliser A and B and 2ml of 30% sodium silicate per litre of culture media.

YOU WILL NEED BOTH PART A AND B TO CULTURE PHYTOPLANTON

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
