Description
Description
This Green Maze Brain coral is a stunning addition to any reef aquarium, featuring vibrant green tissue with intriguing maze-like patterns. The valleys often exhibit iridescent blues and purples, creating a beautiful contrast against the bright green. Each colony develops a unique and intricate labyrinthine structure, making it a focal point in your tank. This WYSIWYG coral ensures you receive the exact piece pictured.PAR levels for this coral should be moderate, ranging from 100-200 PAR. Place the coral in an area with low to moderate flow, ensuring detritus does not settle in its valleys. Avoid direct, strong flow as this can irritate the coral and prevent proper extension. Ideal placement is on the sandbed or a lower rockwork ledge where it can receive consistent, indirect water movement.Feeding is highly beneficial for the Green Maze Brain coral. Offer small meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or specialized coral foods a few times a week, especially after lights out when its feeding tentacles are extended. Maintain stable water parameters: alkalinity 8-12 dKH, calcium 400-450 ppm, and magnesium 1250-1350 ppm. Nitrates should be below 10 ppm and phosphates below 0.10 ppm.Aggression is a consideration with this coral. It possesses sweeping tentacles that can sting neighboring corals, particularly at night. Provide ample space around it, at least 4-6 inches, to prevent it from harming other inhabitants. When acclimating, use a drip acclimation method over 30-60 minutes to minimize stress and allow it to adjust to your tank's water parameters gradually. This Green Maze Brain coral is a hardy and rewarding LPS coral for both intermediate and experienced reef keepers. Its captivating colors and unique growth pattern will bring dynamic beauty to your underwater landscape. With proper care and placement, it will thrive and become a cherished centerpiece in your reef system.
Our Quarantine Procedures
Our Quarantine Procedures
We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.
As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.
Fish
All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.
Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.
During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.
Coral
Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.
Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.
If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed
If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
Payment & Security
We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.
Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
