Red Sea REEFER Peninsula 500 G3+ Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEFER Peninsula 500 G3+ is a three-sided reef aquarium base system for a room-divider or open-plan display. It offers the flexibility to choose your own equipment while bringing the aquarium, cabinet, sump and plumbing together with ReefControl Pro and automatic top-off.

This is the G3+ base package, not the MAX equipment bundle. Black and White cabinet finishes are available.

A reef viewed from more than one angle

The peninsula layout places the overflow at one end, keeping the main viewing panels open. Plan rockwork that looks balanced from both long sides, with room to clean the glass and direct flow along the display. Lighting and cable routes deserve attention before the aquarium is positioned.

The ultra-clear glass is eurobraced. A ReefGate valve gives fine control of the drain, and the sump has a removable mechanical filtration section for a compatible ReefMat upgrade.

What is supplied?

Peninsula 500 G3+ aquarium, selected cabinet, sump, factory plumbing with ReefGate valve, ReefControl Pro and ATO module.

What needs to be added?

Lighting and suitable mounts, return and circulation pumps, skimmer, heater and any ReefMat roller filter. Dosing equipment, extra monitoring probes, salt, rock, sand and livestock are not included. Choose mounting hardware for a peninsula layout rather than assuming conventional rear-mounted light arms will suit.

Installation checks

Request the current Peninsula 500 G3+ drawing, sump layout and confirmed water volumes before ordering. Do not use earlier-generation measurements. Check cabinet access from the intended position, the delivery route and floor suitability. We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
