Red Sea REEFER Peninsula S-950 G3+ Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEFER Peninsula S-950 G3+ is a large-format, three-sided aquarium for a substantial reef installation. It is the largest model in the REEFER Peninsula range, supplied with its cabinet, sump, plumbing, ReefControl Pro and automatic top-off.

This listing is the G3+ base aquarium system, not the MAX equipment package. Choose a Black or White cabinet finish.

Plan the room around the reef

A peninsula of this size becomes part of the room layout. Consider walking space, cabinet-door access and maintenance from both long sides before selecting its position. Plan the rockwork, lighting and circulation together so the far end of the display remains accessible and well served by flow.

The ultra-clear glass display is eurobraced. The factory plumbing includes a ReefGate valve for precise drain adjustment, while the sump provides for a compatible ReefMat upgrade.

Included

Equipment and supplies not included

Lighting and suitable mounts, return and circulation pumps, skimmer, heater, ReefMat roller filter, dosing equipment and additional monitoring probes. Salt, rock, sand and livestock are separate. Budget for water preparation, maintenance consumables and equipment access as part of the complete installation.

Technical checks before purchase

Request the current Peninsula S-950 G3+ dimensions, sump configuration and confirmed water volumes. Earlier REEFER specifications should not be used for this installation. Confirm floor suitability, the delivery route and equipment-removal clearances. We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
