Red Sea REEFER S-850 G3+ Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEFER S-850 G3+ is a large-format reef aquarium for a carefully planned installation. It brings the aquarium, cabinet, sump and plumbing together with ReefControl Pro and automatic top-off, while allowing you to choose lighting and filtration for the reef you intend to keep.

This is the G3+ base aquarium system, not a MAX equipment bundle. Black and White cabinet options are available.

Think beyond the display

With a system in this size class, access to the sump, water-preparation space and the route for equipment replacement deserve as much attention as the aquascape. Plan open flow paths and avoid placing rock where it prevents glass cleaning or routine servicing.

The eurobraced ultra-clear glass display is paired with an in-cabinet sump and factory plumbing. A ReefGate valve provides fine drain adjustment, and the mechanical filtration section is designed for a compatible ReefMat upgrade.

Included monitoring

The controller can be expanded with separately purchased probes and ReefControl Power. These accessories are not included in the base package.

What comes with the aquarium?

S-850 G3+ aquarium, selected cabinet, sump, factory plumbing with ReefGate valve, ReefControl Pro and ATO module.

What is purchased separately?

Lights and mounting equipment, return and circulation pumps, skimmer, heater, ReefMat roller filter and dosing equipment. Salt, rock, sand, test equipment and livestock are also separate. Match equipment to stocking and feeding, not the model number alone.

Installation planning

Request the current S-850 G3+ dimensional drawing, sump configuration and confirmed water volumes before selecting equipment or building cabinetry around the tank. Do not substitute older G3 or G2 specifications. We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
