EMA's Promise.

Qualified, Honest Advice Using Techniques & Protocols that we use ourselves.

Description

Red Sea ReefControl Lite is a modular reef aquarium controller designed to make day‑to‑day reef tank monitoring simple, reliable and app‑friendly. It connects to the Red Sea ReefBeat ecosystem so you can view key parameters, set alerts, and review trends from your phone—without turning your sump into a spaghetti bowl of analogue cables.

ReefControl Lite is built around the ReefSense digital probe system. Because the probes convert their sensor signal to a digital reading inside the probe itself, it helps reduce the electromagnetic interference that can affect traditional analogue probes in pump‑heavy reef sumps. Calibration data is stored on the probe, so once calibrated you can move it, clean it, and even use it remotely without needing to recalibrate every time.

Out of the box, ReefControl Lite is supplied with a combined pH & Temperature probe—two of the most important reef parameters to keep stable. The Lite controller supports up to 2 ReefSense probes or sensors, making it the ideal starting point for reefkeepers who want accurate pH, temperature, ATO, leak detection or salinity monitoring without jumping straight into a full multi‑sensor build.

As your system grows, you can expand beyond “monitoring” into “automation”. ReefSense readings can be used to control compatible 12V DC add‑on devices, and you can integrate a ReefControl Power unit to bring AC sockets (heaters, lights, fans, ozone, etc.) into sensor‑driven control, schedules, and safety shut‑offs through ReefBeat.

If you’re building a stable reef aquarium in New Zealand and want a clean, scalable entry into Red Sea’s connected control ecosystem, ReefControl Lite gives you a practical base that you can upgrade over time—add a salinity probe, a leak detector, or the ReefControl ATO module whenever you’re ready.

Our Quarantine Procedures

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.

Payment & Security

We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.

Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
