Description

This Green Acropora is a stunning addition to any reef aquarium, displaying vibrant green coloration and a beautiful branching structure. Its delicate polyps extend to filter feed and add a dynamic texture to your aquascape. This coral is mounted on a frag plug and is ready for placement in your display tank. Photos are representative of the coral you will receive. Due to natural variation, no two corals are identical. Photos are taken under a 100% royal blue light spectrum.

Acropora corals require high PAR lighting, ideally between 250-450 PAR. Consistent, strong flow is crucial for SPS corals to prevent detritus buildup and ensure proper nutrient exchange. Place this coral in the upper third of your tank where it will receive ample light and turbulent water movement. Ensure it is securely attached to rockwork with coral glue or putty to prevent it from falling.

While primarily photosynthetic, Acropora can benefit from supplemental feeding with phytoplankton or other broadcast coral foods. Maintain stable water parameters: alkalinity 8-9 dKH, calcium 400-450 ppm, and magnesium 1300-1350 ppm. Nitrates should be kept low, under 10 ppm, and phosphates under 0.10 ppm. Regular water changes are recommended to maintain water quality.

Acropora are generally peaceful but can be stung by aggressive corals. Provide adequate spacing between corals to prevent chemical warfare or physical damage. When acclimating, use a drip acclimation method over at least 30-60 minutes to slowly introduce the coral to your tank's water parameters. Observe the coral closely for the first few days for signs of stress.

This Green Acropora offers a striking splash of color and an intricate growth form that makes it a prized specimen for experienced reef keepers. Its demanding care requirements are well worth the effort, rewarding you with a thriving and beautiful centerpiece for your reef aquarium. It is an excellent choice for those looking to add a vibrant and fast-growing SPS coral to their collection.

Our Quarantine Procedures

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.

Payment & Security

We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.

Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
