Red Sea ReefSense – pH & Temp Probe

Red Sea ReefSense Digital pH & Temperature Probe is the core monitoring probe for the ReefControl ecosystem, built for stable, repeatable readings in real‑world reef cabinets. pH stability and temperature control directly influence coral calcification, fish health, and overall reef system resilience—so this probe focuses on accuracy, longevity, and clean app integration.

It connects to ReefControl Lite or ReefControl Pro to provide real‑time monitoring, notifications and logs inside the ReefBeat app. Both the pH and temperature readings can be used independently as triggers to control compatible DC devices (such as fans or solenoids), or to control AC equipment like heaters when paired with ReefControl Power.

ReefSense probes are digital: the probe converts analogue sensor data to the final reading inside the probe itself, helping protect results from electromagnetic interference common in reef sumps. Calibration data is stored on the probe, so once calibrated it can be moved, cleaned, and even used remotely via Bluetooth without needing to re‑calibrate or pollute your tank’s trend logs.

For longevity in seawater, the pH sensor features dual ceramic external junctions in a double‑junction design and includes automatic temperature compensation for the pH reading.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
