Red Sea Coralline Gro

Help promote coralline algae and control nuisance algae with Red Sea’s Coralline Gro. Contains a trace element and buffer complex.

Coralline algae will grow naturally, without any special supplements in all reef systems optimized for hard corals. To promote coralline algae in fish only or soft coral aquariums the alkalinity needs to be maintained at approximately 3 meq/L ( 8.4 °dKH ) and specific minor and trace elements need to be readily available.

Coralline Gro is a complex of carbonate buffers, potassium and trace elements such as iron formulated in the ratio taken up regularly by the coralline algae.

Coralline Gro should be used instead of Reef Foundation B (buffer) supplement during the cycling of all new marine aquariums and on an ongoing basis in fish-only or soft corals systems.

Coralline Gro should be dosed according to a measured drop in alkalinity with Reef Foundation KH/Alkalinity Pro test kit.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
