Red Sea REEF-FRAME 170 Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEF-FRAME 170 is a compact, reef-ready aquarium system built for aquarists who want Red Sea engineering with complete freedom over the equipment package. With a 60 cm footprint and 174 L total system volume, it combines eurobraced ultra-clear glass, a reinforced marine-spec plywood cabinet, a purpose-built sump and Red Sea's latest water-management system in a clean, modern platform.

REEF-FRAME is designed around strength, quiet operation and easy equipment integration. The aquarium is bonded with high-quality euro-silicone, the cabinet supports the full contour of the glass, and the enlarged central overflow works with Red Sea's high-precision ReefGate valve for fine control of the downflow.

Warranty

Red Sea provides a standard 3-year aquarium warranty, extendable to 5 years at no extra cost when the system is registered with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase, subject to Red Sea's warranty terms.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
