Description

Frogspawn Coral is a classic and highly popular LPS coral, loved for its thick branching structure, flowing polyps, and distinctive tentacle tips that give it its name. Its movement in the water adds a soft, natural rhythm to the reef tank, helping create a display that feels vibrant, alive, and full of energy. With its eye-catching form and strong visual presence, Frogspawn Coral is a favourite among reef keepers wanting a coral that stands out without overwhelming the scape.

Known for its attractive green, gold, and bi-colour variations, Frogspawn Coral brings both colour and texture to a reef aquarium. Its fleshy polyps extend beautifully during the day, creating an elegant swaying motion that pairs well with other LPS and contrasting coral shapes. Whether used as a feature piece or placed among other Euphyllia corals, Frogspawn adds depth, movement, and a more dynamic overall look to the aquarium.

Frogspawn Coral generally does best in stable reef systems with moderate lighting and gentle to moderate indirect flow. It prefers enough water movement to keep the polyps moving naturally while avoiding excessive direct flow that can cause stress or retraction. As with many fleshy LPS corals, maintaining stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, and nutrient levels helps support healthy expansion, strong coloration, and long-term success in the reef tank.

At Eastern Marine Aquariums, we carefully select Frogspawn Coral for its health, colour, and display quality so customers can add a standout piece to their reef with confidence. Each specimen is chosen for its visual appeal and condition, making it a fantastic option for hobbyists wanting reliable beauty and classic reef movement. If you are looking for a coral that combines flowing motion, vibrant colour, and proven reef appeal, Frogspawn Coral is an excellent choice.

Our Quarantine Procedures

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.

We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.
