Description

Toxic Green Scolymia vitensis — WYSIWYG (7cm)

This Toxic Green Scolymia vitensis displays a rich neon-green base with subtle multitone highlights and the classic fleshy, rounded structure characteristic of high-quality Scolymia. Under blue LED lighting, this specimen shows exceptional fluorescence, producing a bright, glowing appearance that makes it a standout feature in any LPS or mixed reef aquarium. The coral exhibits excellent tissue fullness and a clean, even growth pattern.

This is a WYSIWYG listing — the exact coral shown in the photo is the one you will receive.

Care Instructions

Lighting:
Low to moderate light helps maintain colour saturation and prevents light-shock or bleaching.

Flow:
Low, indirect flow is recommended to protect its soft tissue and allow natural inflation.

Placement:
Best placed on the sand bed or a stable, low-flow rock ledge. Keep away from aggressive neighbours.

Feeding:
Readily accepts mysis shrimp, LPS pellets, reef roids, and small meaty foods. Target feeding 1–2 times weekly enhances growth and colour.

Water Parameters:
Maintain stable reef conditions:
• Alkalinity: 8–9 dKH
• Calcium: 420–450 ppm
• Magnesium: 1300–1400 ppm
• Nitrate: 5–15 ppm
• Phosphate: 0.03–0.1 ppm

Why This Coral Is a Great Choice

• Brilliant toxic-green fluorescence
• Hardy, fleshy LPS suitable for most reef keepers
• Strong tissue inflation and excellent polyp health
• True WYSIWYG specimen
• Perfect centrepiece coral for sand bed placement

Our Quarantine Procedures

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
