This Toxic Orange Pavona features intense, fluorescent orange coloration with finely textured polyps and a bold, encrusting-to-plating growth pattern. Under blue LED lighting, the coral glows with vibrant, fiery orange tones that stand out dramatically against rockwork. At approximately 15cm across, this is a substantial piece that adds immediate colour and structure to any reef.
Pavona corals are hardy, fast-growing, and adaptable, making them suitable for a wide range of mixed or SPS-leaning systems.
This is not a WYSIWYG item. You will receive a healthy Toxic Orange Pavona of similar size (approx. 15cm) and quality to the coral shown.
Care Requirements:
• Lighting: Moderate to high lighting; blue-heavy spectrum enhances intense orange fluorescence.
• Flow: Moderate, indirect flow to promote healthy polyp extension and even plating growth.
• Placement: Mid to upper rockwork; allow room for natural encrusting and plating expansion.
• Feeding: Mostly photosynthetic but benefits from occasional broadcast feeding of fine coral foods.
• Water Parameters: Stable mixed-reef conditions (Alk 8–9 dKH, Ca 420–450 ppm, Mg 1300–1400 ppm, NO₃ 5–10 ppm, PO₄ 0.03–0.08 ppm).
A bright, hardy, and fast-growing coral that adds a powerful splash of colour to any reefscape.
