Fauna Marin Balling Carbonate Mix

Fauna Marin Balling Carbonate Mix is the dry component used to prepare the alkalinity solution in the Balling Light method. Separate solutions allow dosing to match the actual consumption of each parameter.

Preparing the solution

Use 500 g of the mix and RO water to make a final solution volume of 5 L, following Fauna Marin's mixing sequence.

Add 25 mL of Balling Trace 3 to this canister as directed by the Balling Light method.

Dosing

At this prepared strength, 10 mL per 100 L raises alkalinity by approximately 0.5 dKH. Test the aquarium, calculate consumption and set the dosing rate accordingly. Keep the solutions separate and follow the recommended interval between additions.

Handling and storage

Store dry and tightly closed. Avoid dust and eye contact; rinse affected eyes gently with water and follow the label's safety advice. Keep away from children and do not consume.
