Red Sea REEF-FRAME 500 Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEF-FRAME 500 is the largest system in the REEF-FRAME range, combining a 150 cm display with 515 L total water volume and complete freedom to select your preferred reef equipment. With 15 mm glass throughout, eurobracing, a reinforced marine-spec plywood cabinet and a 110 L sump, it is designed as a substantial long-term platform for large mixed reefs and SPS-focused systems.

The water-management system is engineered for high flow with quiet operation. A large central overflow feeds Red Sea's ReefGate high-precision downflow valve, while dual 25 mm return outlets support either one or two return pumps. The sump is ReefMat-ready and provides generous space for the filtration equipment of your choice.

Warranty

Red Sea provides a standard 3-year aquarium warranty, extendable to 5 years at no extra cost when the system is registered with Red Sea within 90 days of purchase, subject to Red Sea's warranty terms.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
