Description
Description
The Red Sea REEFER 200 G3+ is a compact reef aquarium system for aquarists who want a sump-based setup without a long display. It combines the aquarium, cabinet and plumbing with ReefControl Lite and automatic top-off, leaving you free to select lighting, flow and filtration for your livestock.
This is the G3+ base system, not a MAX equipment package. The G3+ display is eurobraced; it should not be confused with earlier rimless REEFER generations.
What makes this model different?
The smaller format encourages a considered aquascape rather than a large collection of rock and fish. Plan open space around the rockwork for maintenance and water movement. Below the display, the sump keeps compatible filtration equipment accessible inside the cabinet.
ReefControl Lite is supplied with the ATO module and temperature monitoring. It supports up to two ReefSense probes or sensors and one 12 V DC device. Additional probes and ReefControl Power equipment are separate options, not part of the base aquarium.
System at a glance
| Generation | REEFER 200 G3+ |
|---|---|
| Glass construction | Ultra-clear glass with eurobraced upper perimeter |
| Included controller | ReefControl Lite |
| Top-off and monitoring | ATO module with integrated temperature monitoring |

Included with the base system
REEFER 200 G3+ aquarium, selected cabinet, sump and factory plumbing, including the ReefGate drain valve, plus ReefControl Lite with the ATO module.
Equipment to add
Lighting and mounts, return pump, circulation pumps, protein skimmer, heater and any ReefMat roller filter are not included in this base package. Additional monitoring probes, dosing equipment, salt, rock, sand and livestock are also separate. Choose these around your coral plan and expected feeding load.
Before you order
Ask EasternMarine Aquariums for the current G3+ dimensional drawing and confirmed display and sump volumes before planning the installation. Do not use older-generation dimensions or assume the model number is the exact usable water volume. Confirm cabinet access, delivery requirements, availability and applicable New Zealand warranty and registration terms.
Our Quarantine Procedures
Our Quarantine Procedures
We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.
As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.
Fish
All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.
Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.
During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.
Coral
Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.
Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.
If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed
If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
Payment & Security
We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.
Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
