Description
Description
The Red Sea REEFER 625 G3+ is a larger reef aquarium base system for a carefully planned coral display. It brings together the glass aquarium, cabinet, sump and plumbing with ReefControl Pro and automatic top-off, without tying you to a fixed lighting or filtration bundle.
This is the G3+ base system, not the MAX package. Cabinet options are Black and White.
Plan for growth as well as the first aquascape
A larger reef needs room for coral growth, accessible glass and flow paths that remain useful as the aquarium matures. The eurobraced display and reinforced cabinet provide the structural starting point. The ReefGate drain valve offers fine flow adjustment, while the sump's removable mechanical filtration section allows a compatible ReefMat to be installed.
ReefControl Pro supports up to seven ReefSense probes or sensors and two 12 V DC devices. The supplied ATO module replaces evaporated water and monitors temperature. Monitoring expansion is optional: additional probes and ReefControl Power equipment are sold separately.

The aquarium, selected cabinet, sump, factory plumbing including ReefGate valve, ReefControl Pro and ATO module.
Budget for these separately
Lighting and mounting hardware, return pump, circulation, protein skimmer, heater and optional ReefMat roller filter. Dosing equipment, extra probes, salt, rock, sand and livestock are not included. Allow for ongoing saltwater preparation and maintenance consumables when planning the complete build.
Installation checks
Obtain the current 625 G3+ dimensions and water-volume breakdown before arranging a permanent location. Older REEFER generations are not a substitute for the current drawing. Check floor suitability, delivery access and room to service the sump. Confirm availability, aquarium freight and New Zealand warranty and registration terms with EasternMarine Aquariums.
Our Quarantine Procedures
Our Quarantine Procedures
We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.
As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.
Fish
All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.
Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.
During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.
Coral
Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.
Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.
If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed
If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
Payment & Security
We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.
Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
