Red Sea Reefer MAX S-850 G3 Aquarium Package

The Red Sea REEFER MAX S-850 G3 is a 180 cm-long reef aquarium package with a nominal 850 L total system volume. It combines a broad REEFER-S display and flexible sump arrangement with Red Sea's main lighting, pumping, filtration and top-off equipment categories.

This is the MAX G3 package using ReefATO+, not MAX G3+. It includes an EMA Livestock Voucher valued at NZ$1,795.

Display space and sump flexibility

The 68 cm front-to-back width gives room to create a layered aquascape with open flow paths. The G3 S-850 uses 19 mm glass with bracing and an aluminium-framed cabinet. A main sump and extension sump provide options for an additional filtration or refugium area; plan that space around the equipment you intend to run.

Volumes are nominal. Actual water quantity changes with operating levels, rock, sand and equipment displacement.

What else is needed?

Allow separately for heating, saltwater preparation, testing, salt, rock, sand, livestock and any dosing equipment. Consider ongoing consumables and equipment access as part of the build. Assembly, equipment tuning and biological cycling are required before stocking.

Before ordering

Confirm floor suitability and the complete delivery route, including doorways and turns. Leave working space for sump maintenance and equipment removal. Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
