Red Sea REEFER S-700 G3+ Aquarium System

The Red Sea REEFER S-700 G3+ is a large marine aquarium base system for reefkeepers who want to build a substantial display around their own equipment choices. The aquarium, cabinet, sump and plumbing are supplied together, with ReefControl Pro and an automatic top-off module.

Choose Black or White cabinet finish. This is the G3+ base package, not a MAX bundle.

Plan for access as well as appearance

A large reef works best when you can reach equipment and maintain flow around the rockwork. Use the S-700 as a platform for separated coral zones, leaving space to clean the glass and remove pumps. Its ultra-clear display is eurobraced, and filtration equipment is housed in the cabinet below.

A ReefGate valve allows fine drain adjustment. The sump's removable mechanical filtration section provides a route to a compatible ReefMat upgrade without implying that the roller filter is already supplied.

Equipment and supplies to budget for

Lighting and mounts, return and circulation pumps, protein skimmer, heater and optional ReefMat are not included. Dosing equipment, additional monitoring, salt, rock, sand and livestock are separate purchases. Plan ongoing water preparation and replacement consumables alongside the initial equipment cost.

Before purchase

Ask for the current S-700 G3+ installation drawing, sump layout and confirmed water volumes. Earlier REEFER measurements should not be used to set out a new installation. Confirm floor suitability, delivery access, service clearances, freight and applicable New Zealand warranty and registration terms with EasternMarine Aquariums.

We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.

As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
