Description
Description
The Red Sea REEFER 425 G3+ is a reef aquarium base system for aquarists who want to select their own equipment while starting with an integrated sump, cabinet and plumbing. It also moves up to ReefControl Pro, offering more monitoring connections than the Lite controller supplied with the smaller 200 and 300 models.
This is the G3+ aquarium system, not a MAX hardware package. Choose a Black or White cabinet finish.
Why choose the 425 G3+?
The display offers scope for a planned reef layout with separated coral groups and room to maintain flow as colonies grow. Eurobracing reinforces the upper glass perimeter. The sump below the aquarium houses compatible equipment, with a removable mechanical filtration section for a ReefMat upgrade.
The included ReefControl Pro supports up to seven ReefSense probes or sensors and two 12 V DC devices. Its supplied ATO module provides automatic top-off with temperature monitoring. Extra probes and ReefControl Power outlets are not included.

Equipment you will need separately
Lighting and mounts, return and circulation pumps, skimmer, heater and any ReefMat roller filter are separate purchases. ReefMat-ready describes compatibility, not a supplied filter. Additional probes, dosing equipment, salt, rock, sand and livestock are not included.
Before purchasing
Request the current 425 G3+ drawing and confirmed display and sump volumes for installation planning. Do not substitute older-generation specifications or use the model number as your dosing volume. Consider service access and the delivery route, then confirm availability, freight and the applicable New Zealand warranty and registration requirements with EasternMarine Aquariums.
Our Quarantine Procedures
Our Quarantine Procedures
We take livestock seriously. That's why we don't sell anything we wouldn't be comfortable putting in our own tank.
As we are direct from source, we import and sell direct to the public. This means you can buy with confidence knowing EMA prides itself on excellent handling and conditioning protocols.
Fish
All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.
Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.
During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.
Coral
Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.
Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.
If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed
If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
Payment & Security
We offer a number of different payment methods, including Credit Card, Afterpay, Q Card, Pay at Collection, Bank Transfer and POLi.
Credit card payments are processed securely using the highest possible security protocols.
