Red Sea Reefer MAX Peninsula 350 G3 Aquarium Package

The Red Sea REEFER MAX Peninsula 350 G3 is a three-sided reef aquarium package with a 96 cm-long display. It suits a room-divider layout where the aquarium is enjoyed from both long sides and the open end, with the overflow positioned at the opposite end.

This is the MAX G3 package with ReefATO+, not MAX G3+. An EMA Livestock Voucher valued at NZ$1,016 is included.

Design for three viewing panels

Plan a central aquascape that looks balanced from each side, leaving access for cleaning and water movement around the rockwork. Consider the lighting support and cable route before positioning a peninsula aquarium in the room.

System specifications

Water volumes are nominal and rounded; component figures may not add precisely to the total. Actual volume depends on operating levels, rock and sand.

Setup requirements

Budget separately for a heater, water preparation, testing, salt, rock, sand, livestock and any dosing equipment. The aquarium requires assembly, equipment setup and biological cycling before stocking.

Before purchase

Fish

All our fish held in a quarantine system for a minimum of 3 weeks. During this time, regular water changes are performed, and twice daily (or sometimes more) feedings are performed.

Copper is dosed and checked twice a day for ich and velvet.

During this treatment fish are given formalin baths for brooklynella and a minimum of 3 praziquantel doses is performed for flukes.

Coral

Our coral is quarantined for a minimum of 3 weeks, just like fish. During this time, regular water changes are performed, water testing done, and once a month a Fauna Marin ICP Total is performed.

Corals are inspected for pests/general health and are provided with a pest dip once a week for at least 3 weeks.

If we see signs of pests, the quarantine period is extended and/or additional dips are performed

If coral is bleached/unhealthy, it will remain in quarantine until healthy enough to sell.
